About Me

Hi! I’m Amanda, I work as a news/media personality, specializing in on-camera work. I started working in national news right out of college. I’ve hosted, anchored, reported, interviewed film makers on the red carpet, and even acted. But if you take a look at my social media, you’ll find me living life in NYC and traveling (my favorite past time).

I’ve covered breaking news, national headlines, international stories, social media trends, business – you name it. I work well under pressure, adapt to my surroundings, and learn quickly. Also, I will happily laugh at bloopers.

I love interviewing people, and breaking down information to be accessible and understood by everyone.

I took an untraditional path and broadcast. I was born and raised in San Diego, CA., and attended the University of California, Santa Barbara. I’ll always be a So-Cal girl at heart and I love the sunshine. I graduated UCSB with a BA in Psychology. Why? Well, I love people and learning about people.

I started behind the camera, working as a production assistant. I started anchoring 3 months later. As you can imagine, the first day I anchored was a tornado of emotions and a “as ready as I can be” moment. I also write, produce, and book guest.

Some personal things, I always say I think there’s a lot of gray in the world and people are more similar than we realize. I believe there is so much to see in the world and I love having an opportunity to share a little bit of what’s happening out there.
